Christmas in Our Home

These days, most mornings begin with a dive into the pillow fort in our living room. 

Made Christmasy by a quilt my mom made us a few years back. 

This is usually followed by a request from Emerson to turn the lights on the Christmas tree. 

"ooOOooh"

She likes to step on the glow from the lights and shine them on her belly button:)

twinkle.

I love the feeling that comes with Christmas decorations. 

During the day, as light pours in, everything feels festive and bright.

As the sun fades from the sky and the glow of candles and twinkle lights take its place, our home feels so cozy and warm.

 Each evening, when Jared gets home, she asks for water to give to the tree. She helps get the water, then watches as her daddy pours it in.

Our tree. I love our tree.

And that's Christmas in our home.
